Actualmente tenemos 160 niños y jóvenes internos y 350 externos que estudian en la Institución Educativa Granjas Infantiles.

• En 1.979 se compró esta finca en Fredonia para formar un centro de capacitación para niños y jóvenes campesinos de escasos recursos.

• En 1984 se inauguró el internado para niños, que cursaban el cuarto grado de primaria

• En 2005, en convenio con el Sena se forma el centro Agropecuario La Sandalia, que funcionó durante 8 años. Logrando varias promociones de técnicos y tecnólogos Campesinos.

• En 2016 se crea el Centro de Innovación La Sandalia, para campesinos que son formados como tecnólogos por la Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, Corporación Universitaria La Sallista, Futuro para la Niñez y con el apoyo económico de la Corporación Urrea Arbeláez. Hemos formado varios grupos de jóvenes campesinos. La próxima graduación para 25 campesinos será el próximo 16 de agosto.
